Christmas 2011 was extra special for me. I must admit that there are still hurdles but then someone has made it very special nonetheless.

There’s so many things going on in my life right now, and there’s been this one person who has been keeping me inspired despite all the challenges I am experiencing. I never thought I’d found someone who’d be there after knowing everything that I’ve been through. It’s not that I’m ashamed of my past, it’s just that I am aware that my track record hasn’t really been the best there is. And yet he remains to stand by me and even help me get through everything. He may never really get to read this as that really isn’t my intention, but if he does, I just wanna say that JOCEF now would not have been this HAPPY if not for you.

People say that the future is UNCERTAIN, but babe, I hope ours is. It may be wishful thinking and it might even be too early to tell. But if that greater force is really that good to me, I hope he keeps you with me. Thank you so much for everything, I’m looking forward to growing old with you. I LOVE YOU! Happy 2nd! :P

One Day : Love really isn’t just a one time thing

This movie is an adaptation from the novel of the same name that was released sometime in 2009 I think. After seeing the film I took a glance on some of the reviews and there weren’t a lot of positive comments for the movie.

I must admit the way the movie was presented wasn’t really your typical feel good, light drama, sweet stuffed love affair. This was a story about two people who experienced love that lasted years and continued to live on despite one of them parting. I wouldn’t want to spoil it for those who haven’t really seen it. Yes, there are a few bad reviews about this film, but don’t let it stop you, for all you know their opinion about it just might have been different. (Oh and the fact that Jim remained to look so adorable despite their attempts to make him look old — would make you really wanna stay glued on screen)

The story was unique in a way and showed the different ways love can be expressed. I watched it with someone special and seeing that he also knew how to appreciate this type of film makes me become more drawn to him.

Looking and Moving Forward

I went away for the “Holy Week” to contemplate. It helped me realize so many things about life, love and reality. Often times I may have been misunderstood, it’s just too bad some people never really bothered to ask me to clarify why things are the way they were. Some even assumed that I actually was in a relationship with someone when in fact I was saving myself for someone in December. Too bad though it will no longer be reality, he did say that my side would remain ”unheard“ unfortunate as it sounds, perhaps it will be for the best.

My get-away seemed very timely to make me understand the value of life, that life was given to us with a purpose. I came across a hurdle while I was away, it seemed like one at first but in reality it is something that was meant to make me stronger, just like all the other challenges I’ve been through in this lifetime.

I got hurt at one point with the stuff I’ve heard, but a good friend made me realize that what other people think don’t really matter because I know myself better. People will come and go in our lives, but what is more important is that we never forget the time that that individual became a part of our life and was the reason behind our happiness. He just might be a part of history, but I will not be who I will be if not for that memory.

Truly it is time to move forward, I may at times look back, but only to say that I am thankful I met you, that you caused that genuinely happy smile on my face, the brightened eyes and the joyous thoughts at one point in my life. I will not forget you. You have been a part of me and nothing can change that. Whatever we had may not have been defined like all others, but I treasure every moment.

My Ultimate Stress Reliever

I used to complain a lot about being stressed out with a lot of things. Whether it’s work, domestic issues or even my love life. But God really is good, he gave me the ultimate stress reliever there is — GABRIEL!

Work was stressful as always but the moment my son ran to me to kiss me as I entered the loft’s door, all that stress just vanished! He’s really heaven sent, why would anyone even think that kids aged 1 to 3 would be the annoying years? Gabby and I share this bond and level of respect even at his very young age, he know when what the word “no” or “stop” means when it’s coming from me. Although when it’s everyone else he’d simply ignore them, am still grateful that he identifies me as his Dad and would only listen to what I say.

Now how come I never really posted anything about him here? Hehehe, well now I do.. And this is not that last you’ll see of this angel definitely..
